Dear Sir:

kids ith the aker in the Wood, * nada. for eight days. We used Mud Puppies almost exclusively as we learned from the guides that this plug was most desirable. I thought you would be interested to hear that I caught a Muskie on one of your plugs* 48 inches long, weighing 35 lbs. We also caught nine other Muskies ranging down to fifteen pounds.

In all cases but one we were able to retrieve the wood plug.

Very truly yours,

Dear Sir

While fishing for Muskies in Lake of the Woods, I snagged a fine one but the same old story he got away; snapped my line and took with it the harness for my Mud Puppy which was doing fine work up to that time. Unfortunately, I had only one with me but the next time I will not be caught short of having duplicates. The Mud Puppy is a "go-getter" for the big ones.

Please mail collect another rigging for my Mud Puppy which is the large size.

Yours for volume and success

WADE H. HANCOCK.

The Zara Spook was always one of my favorite topwater lures for largemouth bass. All this time I never realized the reason they were called "spook" was they were transparent! It is still tough to beat walking the dog!
