Three main variants of the extremely rare S.m.K.H. "Super Armor Piercing" tungsten core 8mm Mauser rounds. These rounds are considered by many to be the Holy Grail of WWII German 8mm ammunition.
(S.m.K.H. stands for "Spitzgeschoss mit Kern Hart" AFAIK = A-P w/ tungsten carbide core)
There were three main variants of this ammunition. They are as follows:
1st Variant: Tombac projectile with red primer
2nd Variant: Cupro Nickel (silver colored) projectile with red primer
3rd Variant: Black colored gilded metal projectile with red primer annulus
You will receive ONE of each variant listed above. Production of these rounds ceased in 1942 and the remaining unused rounds were ordered to be sent back so they could utilize the tungsten cores for other purposes. The limited production combined with the majority of this ammo being destroyed lead to the S.m.K.H. rounds being one of the most difficult rounds for the collector to acquire. Don't miss your opportunity to add a set of these extremely rare rounds to your collection!
2nd Variant: Cupro Nickel (silver colored) projectile with red primer
3rd Variant: Black colored gilded metal projectile with red primer annulus
These are currently listed on GB for 99 a set
